Cancellation policy
- Cancellation by the participants can be done by emailing the organizing committee info@dqnorway.com by 1 July 2022 with a 90% refund of the total amount. After this date, any cancellations are subject to a 50% refund of the total amount until 15 August 2022 unless a substitute participant is offered. After 15 August 2022, there is no refund. Substitution requests may be sent via email at any time up to the week prior to the event week. The total amount refers to the conference fee and any potential workshops the participants have paid for. The Organizer is not responsible for refunds of other expenses, such as but not limited to hotel and travel costs, etc., that the participants may have incurred.
- In case of cancellation of the conference by the Organizer, the participant will be refunded 90% of the total amount (conference fee and/or the workshop fee). - On 13 July 2022, the Organizer will, depending on the development of the SARS-COV-2 situation, either defer or cancel the event if we see a significant increase in cancellations or if we are in a situation where executing the conference jeopardizes our financial responsibilities, or increase the risk of health and safety of our participants.

Force majeure
Events beyond the control of the Organizer – for example, but not limited to, extreme weather conditions, acts of war, terrorism, transportation shut-down (strikes or accidents), government regulation or advisory including travel warnings, serious illness, epidemics, or pandemics (e.g. SARS-COV-2) that makes it impossible to fulfill the obligations of conducting the conference entitle the Organizer to cancel the event without liability.
Program change
It is sometimes necessary to change the conference program. The conference Organizer will not be liable for any such unavoidable changes.
